Saved for each person
Each person has their own restrictions: allergies, intolerances, medical, religious and lifestyle ones like vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, gluten-free or dairy-free, or anything you type. Each is severe or avoid.
Kids don’t need accounts. Add a profile for each child, and their restrictions count on every plan like anyone’s.
Checked on every meal
Every dinner on the plan is checked against everyone who’s eating it. foodoodle reads the ingredients and the method, so a step that says “finish with a splash of cream” is caught too.
- Flagged first. A dinner that may conflict shows who it affects and why. Swap is one tap away.
- Held back, not confirmed. A dinner that breaks a restriction isn’t confirmed until someone decides.
- Re-checked when things change. Add a restriction and every upcoming meal is checked again, straight away.
- Suggestions filtered first. Ideas that break someone’s restrictions are left out of the week’s suggestions.
Who sees what
Whoever plans always sees everyone’s restrictions, so every meal can be checked. A household can let everyone see them too. The rest of each person’s food stuff (favorites, cravings, requests) stays private until they share it.
Send your rules to a school, a camp or a host
Each person has an Oodle card: their restrictions, favorites and no-gos on one card. Send it as a link, with everything or just the rules. The link shows the current card, so when the rules change, the card does too. Turn a link off whenever you like.
What it can’t do
foodoodle is a helper, not a guarantee. It flags possible conflicts from the ingredients it knows about. It can’t see inside a packaged sauce or know how a kitchen handles cross-contact. Always read labels and check recipes yourself.
