About

We’re here to end the 5 PM dinner debate.

foodoodle is a meal planner for the whole household: recipes, the week’s meals, the grocery list and everyone’s favorites, in one place everyone can see.

Free until November 4. No card. Works in your browser on iPhone, Android and desktop.

Jonathan Duhon, founder of foodoodle

Why it exists

The hard part of dinner was never the cooking. It’s the deciding, every night, usually by one person keeping it all in their head: what’s in the fridge, who won’t eat what, who’s allergic to what, and what’s for tomorrow.

foodoodle puts that in one shared place. Everyone chips in from their own phone, one person makes the call, and the grocery list writes itself.

Who makes it

foodoodle is a Black-owned software company from Pensy Group, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was founded by Jonathan Duhon.

“Every family deserves technology built with their table in mind. Sunday dinner, the cookout, the weeknight scramble — the table is where a family becomes a family. I built Foodoodle for my own table first: the recipes we already love, a plan everyone can see, and a grocery list that knows what’s in the kitchen.”

What we believe

  • Your food stuff is yours. Favorites, cravings and requests are private until you share them. We don’t sell your data, and there are no ad trackers. The Privacy Policy.
  • The app suggests, you approve. foodoodle’s AI proposes plans and recipes. A person confirms them.
  • Restrictions are checked in code. Every meal is checked against everyone’s saved restrictions, whoever planned it, and no AI can loosen one. It’s a helper, not a guarantee.
  • Every kind of household. Families, roommates, crews and co-ops. Family not required.

Where it is now

foodoodle is free for everyone until November 4, 2026, with no card. Then every household gets 7 days to try the plan, and it’s $19.99 a month or $179.99 a year for the whole household. Without the plan, foodoodle stays free for one login: your recipes, your plan, the calendar and the grocery list for everyone you cook for. It runs in the browser on iPhone, Android and desktop, and installs to your home screen. App store versions are coming. It also works with the AI assistants people already use: Claude, ChatGPT, Muse and Alexa.
