Garlic Naan
A soft Indian flatbread perfect for scooping up your favorite dishes.

Ingredients
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 200 ml warm water
- 3 tbsp plain yogurt
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro (optional) (optional)

Method
- In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. 2 min
- Add warm water and yogurt; mix until a dough forms. 3 min
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 min until smooth. 5 min
- Place the dough in a greased bowl; cover with a towel and let it rise for 1 hour. 1 h
- Punch down the dough and divide it into 4 equal pieces. 2 min
- Roll each piece into an oval about 1/4 inch thick. 5 min
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. 2 min
- Cook each naan for 2-3 min on each side until puffed and golden. 6 min
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic. 2 min
- Brush each naan with garlic butter and sprinkle with cilantro if using. 2 min
