Smash Burgers
Thin beef patties smashed on a hot griddle for a crisp crust, topped with American cheese and served on soft buns.

Ingredients
- 454 g ground beef, 80/20 fat for juiciness
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices American cheese
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil

- 4 lettuce leaf, for serving (optional) (optional)
- 4 tomato slice, for serving (optional) (optional)

Method
- Preheat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat for 5 min. 5 min
- Add 1 tbsp vegetable oil to the griddle. 0 min

- Place the beef balls on the hot griddle, spaced apart. 0 min
- Use a spatula to smash each ball down flat, about 1/2 inch thick. 0 min
