Sweet and Sour Pork
Crisp pork pieces tossed with pineapple and peppers in a tangy sauce; a family favourite.

Ingredients
- 500 g pork tenderloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, cut into chunks
- 200 g pineapple chunks
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 egg, beaten

Method
- Marinate the pork in 1 tbsp of soy sauce for 10 min. 10 min
- Toss pork in cornstarch to coat evenly. 0 min
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan over medium heat. 3 min
- Fry the pork for 7 min until browned and cooked through, then remove and set aside. 7 min
- In the same pan, add remaining oil and sauté onion and bell pepper for 5 min. 5 min
- Add pineapple and sauté for another 2 min. 2 min
- In a bowl, mix vinegar, ketchup, sugar, and remaining soy sauce, then pour over the vegetables. 0 min
