Salmon Teriyaki

This pan-seared salmon with a soy mirin glaze is quick and satisfying, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets, skinless
  • 4 tbsp tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced (optional) (optional)
  • 0 pinch sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Method

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, mirin, and honey. Set aside. 5 min
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. 2 min
  3. Place salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned. 5 min
  4. Flip the salmon, reduce heat to low, and pour the sauce over the fillets. 2 min
  5. Cover and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until salmon is cooked through. 7 min
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if using, and serve. 1 min
